About Me.
My name is Dr. Jennifer Bindernagel, and I am honored to be running for Magisterial District Judge 18-3-04, serving the townships of Brady, Licking, Limestone, Madison, Monroe, Perry, Piney, Porter, Redbank, and Toby, as well as the boroughs of Callensburg, East Brady, Hawthorn, New Bethlehem, Rimersburg, and Sligo. My career has been dedicated to justice, advocacy, and community service, and I am ready to bring that same commitment to the courtroom.
My teenage son and I are proud residents of East Brady, where we are actively involved in Boy Scouts and are members of Zion Church. Family and faith have always been the foundation of my values. I am the daughter of Kimberly Greco and Joseph Greco, and the late Stephen Sowa, who instilled in me the importance of hard work, integrity, and serving others.
With over 23 years of experience in social services and nonprofit leadership, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate complex challenges, advocating for justice, and ensuring accountability within the community—all of which align directly with the responsibilities of a Magisterial District Judge.
As the Executive Director of the Blind Association of Butler and Armstrong, I have demonstrated strong leadership, ethical decision-making, and financial oversight—skills essential for managing a courtroom fairly and efficiently. My role has involved ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, developing policies, and advocating for vulnerable populations—parallel to a judge’s duty to interpret and apply the law with fairness and integrity.
As a social worker and program leader, I have extensive experience in mental health, substance abuse recovery, homelessness prevention, and victim advocacy. I have successfully conducted community needs assessments, developed programs, and secured funding for essential services. These experiences have equipped me with the ability to analyze situations objectively, assess individual circumstances, and make informed, fair decisions—just as a judge must do when evaluating cases.
My experience in conflict resolution, mediation, and crisis intervention ensures that I can preside over cases with both compassion and accountability, upholding the law while considering each individual's unique circumstances. My career has been built on fairness, integrity, and service to others—the very principles that will guide my decisions as Magisterial District Judge of 18-3-04.
